Services always nice and very friendly.
Food and breakfast is much better compared to most hotels in Thailand.
But they need to renew the facility, it is old and very tired. Also, breakfast is not very good here, there s a limited choice for westerners and food is usually cold (more so than other hotels)-often spent the morning on the toilet here after breakfast. It is in a nice setting, the pool is very refreshing and clean, and the breakfast very generous and varied.Staff were very helpful. Our main problem was the noise from an adjacent building where three huge air-conditioning fans operated 24 hours a day! They were so noisy it really spoiled our stay and I even slept with ear plugs! Attempts to move to another room were unsuccessful. We would suggest the Hotel invest in double glazing for that block of rooms.If I were to return I would check where my room was first! Particularly like the open air beer bar.
Location is very good, main shopping areas, internet access, ATM and banking facilities are adjacent to this hotel.
My only complaint, relevant to my stay this time, was that there were no international news channels available at the room TVs’. I did speak to the acting manager of the hotel about
the lack of BBC, CNN, and even that atrocious Fox News, but, he was unable to give me access to TV news . I could always keep up with world events, stock quotes and the like via the internet.
